We'll use a digital X-ray to produce detailed images of your teeth and jaws so that Dr. Amerson can accurately diagnose your condition. Our digital X-ray machine is safer than traditional X-ray techniques because it emits 80% less radiation. Dr. Amerson also uses an intraoral camera to take photos of the inside of your mouth so that she can accurately diagnose problems. You will have an opportunity to review the intraoral images and ask questions. For your comfort, we provide nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, as well as a gentle injection technique for local anesthesia.
